Oopsies, it’s been a while since we blogged some pictures. Let’s fix that, shall we?

For our 4th anniversary, we took a train to Paris. I actually made a solid effort not to trap myself behind my camera the entire time, so perhaps these photos are a somewhat different view of Paris. We only photographed what we thought was worth it, the rest we’ll save for postcards. Although, I wish I had photographed the food. Because it. was, amazing. and now I really miss it.

I did not name my bike Chanel, she was already named as if she was always meant to be mine.
For our anniversary, we had dinner and watched the sun set from the rooftop at the Pompidou.
On Gargoyles: Do you think there was some kind of architect get-together where someone said, “Hey guys, we should add sort of gutter to our buildings to divert the rainwater.” And then some other guy said, “Yeah! And and lets also make them scary as hell.”
We kept finding ourselves back at the garden in front of the Louvre. It was such a nice place to just sit and read, so we ended up spending a lot of time there.

Ladies and gentlemen, The Mona Lisa.

Versailles was OVER THE TOP.

Is there anything more romantic than Paris in black and white?

There’s a lot of point of view shots from below, drawing attention to the grandeur of Parisian structures. I love what you did with the aperture and shutter speed settings to achieve such kind of detail with the close-up shots.

Love them so much! So even though you limited yourselves…how many did you take? My favorites? The first one on the bike and the one with you Megan, with the Black Rapid strap over your shoulder-not sure where you are. Next time we visit we’ll be twins with our camera straps…but your camera stuff will be much nicer! Love ya!

Love, love, love! I might need a print of the vertacal Sunset with Sacre Coeur in the background. That’s my favorite place in Paris. It looks like you had a wonderful & romantic trip.
