Washington DC Wedding

Say hello to Blaine (I know!) and Michelle. They have both served in the United States military and she is on active duty, as were many of their wedding guests. They made us feel proud of where we come from, and I’m so glad we got to skip across the pond and shoot their incredible wedding. On a personal note, this trip to DC was deeply moving to both Keith and myself, as we had just started to feel the pangs of homesickness in foggy London. The second we stepped off the plane into our homeland, we just knew we needed a burrito. Thanks, Blaine and Michelle, for the opportunity to shoot your wedding, and all the joy that came from your big day.

If you end up on the floor, it’s been a good party.

This collection focused on a few things that other photographers normally wouldn’t focus on, and I think that’s what’s keen and creative about the album in its entirety. The attention given to the couple’s shoes, the bride’s skirt, and the DOF concentrating on the fountain with people faded in the background —Very nice. Cheers!
